I can imagine doing that, but I am totally unconvinced that the results are worth the effort! Isn’t a patent leather boot a simpler solution? Or even shiny-surfaced rubber! I know, I know, it is the dedication that counts, not the end results – well, sort of!
This is an interesting development. I picked this up just after New Years and I have to say I think MB has a chance with this. Of course, this one is an AMG development, but who knows what MB will put on the assembly line?

I ran across this on my harddisk just now, and thought that – old though it may be – it belongs in this collection! 🙂 I think this might have been the first commercial use of the “Transformers” technology.
